Lawn bowling provides opportunities to:

- increase fitness by walking, bending, lifting, throwing
- make new friends!
- compete at various levels
- become involved in a low cost recreational activity
How to become a Member!
Members are out playing most days and evenings and would be more than happy to show you the game. A great way to get started is join in on a morning or evening “jitney”. A jitney is a game played by teams formed by random selection through the drawing of names. It’s a good way to meet and enjoy the company of other members.
Please note the Open House announcement on the home page of this site. The Open House is a recommended event if you are new to the game. Or write us at hplbcmembership@gmail.com to set up an introduction.
2026 Member Registration
Registration for the 2026 season is now open. You can begin your membership registration using this Registration Form.
Annual Membership Fees for 2026:
- First year membership: $225 ($199.12 + HST)
– includes a locker and bowls and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting - Full regular playing annual membership: $300 ($265.49 + HST)
– includes a locker and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting - Junior membership (ages 15-18): $75 ($66.37 + HST)
– includes a locker and bowls - Social member (non-playing): $50 ($44.25 + HST)
Full playing members bowl rentals:
- 1st year free
- 2nd & 3rd years: $50/year
- 4th & future years: $75/year
